Amendary runs on a subscription plan plus, separately, a credit balance for generating documentation from scratch. This page covers starting or changing your subscription, buying credit packs, tracking your free trial, and reviewing what you've paid for.
Only a workspace owner can manage billing. Other members of your team can view usage but cannot start a checkout, open the billing portal, or change your plan.
When your workspace is created, it starts a free trial with no card required. During the trial you get daily automated checks, one connected repository, and up to three mapped pages, with corrections held for review rather than applied automatically.
Separately, every workspace starts with a small free balance of generation credits, used only for generating documentation from scratch (prose docs, runbooks, incident reports, product-update pages, and architecture decision records). Credits are unrelated to the trial: they don't expire when the trial ends, and buying a subscription doesn't refill them. You top them up with credit packs.
<aside> ✏ Your first "docs from scratch" run for a product-updates page is free, even before you buy any credit pack. Every other document type always draws from your credit balance.

Result: you're redirected to a secure checkout page. Once payment completes, you're returned to the dashboard, and your workspace's plan tier updates. Your plan sets your repository and mapped-page limits; when a subscription is active, the daily automated checks continue past whatever your trial would otherwise allow.
<aside> ✏ Only one subscription tier or one credit pack can be checked out at a time. If you try to check out with both a tier and a pack selected, or with neither, the request is rejected.

If your trial period passes and you haven't started a subscription, the scheduled daily sync pauses for your workspace. You can still open the dashboard and run a manual check, but automated daily checks stop until you subscribe.
Members who've opted in receive a reminder email as the trial-end date approaches, so there's time to decide before checks pause.
Credit packs are a one-time purchase, separate from your subscription. Buy a pack when you're about to run a documentation generation and your balance is too low.
