Reviewing and approving corrections

When a connected repository changes in a way that affects a documentation page, Amendary creates a correction (shown in the app as a flag) for that page. Depending on your workspace's review mode, that correction is either applied right away or held in a review queue until someone approves it. This page explains how to read a flagged correction, what each action does, and how to control whether corrections apply automatically.

Any workspace member can review and act on corrections. Only the workspace owner can change the review mode itself.

How review mode controls what happens

Your workspace has one of two review modes:

✏ Regardless of which mode you choose, a correction that isn't fully backed by the underlying change (a partial or ungrounded match) always waits for a human. These never apply automatically, even in Auto mode.

To change the mode, an owner opens workspace settings and switches the review setting between Auto and Manual. The new mode applies to corrections generated from that point forward.

Reading a flagged correction

Each correction in the queue shows you the evidence behind it, so you can judge whether it's right before you act:

A correction can include one edit or several, when a single change affects more than one part of a page. Each of those individual edits is tracked and can be approved or rejected on its own.

✏ If a page's source content couldn't be read when the correction was evaluated, that page is skipped rather than judged against missing content. You won't see a correction for a page that failed to load.

Approve a correction

You need to be a member of the workspace.

 1. Open the review queue and select a pending correction.
